I will say BFWD is alot easier to apply, because it is thin.
Sonus is thick, but spreads easy with a good applicator. ( I used the enclosed red premium applicator). Applied to the whole car, took about 20 mins. Then started removing.
If i had a garage 45 mins would have been ideal.

I applied Powerlock to my hood , and Sonus Ion to my trunk, on my daily driver today, just to compare at the same time. Both applied about the same. The Sonus was defintely slicker than Powerlock. Wished Sonus came in a 16oz bottle, guess i could just buy 2 lol...

In summary Sonus Ion is great for someone like me, who doesn't have proper shelter, or shade to do a coating.

Setec, you are so funny sometimes. That's the way to make him talk.

    Re: SONUS ION Paint Coating

    Thanks all,

Wished I had better pics, but due to my photography skills, and forum limitations on size, best for now.
( first time for pics, and not many posts after 7 years on the forum..)

The look is there, to be honest there is probably no way I can go a year without adding some type of LSP to the paint. There are people in this forum who top 2 year or permanent coating weeks after applying..lol.

Due to time restraints, I think this LSP is a perfect candidate for something like "Reload", now that I have a good base coat bonded. Next rain I will post some beading pics...

    Re: SONUS ION Paint Coating

Rained last night, intense thunderstorms about 9pm, took these this morning.
One pic is from a section I applied on my DD.

Third pic, notice how the water just trails down to the spoiler, making a huge bead.
    Sonus Ion is very hydrophobic.......
