Review - Pinnacle Black Label Leather Products

First, thanks to Nick for the New Pinnacle Black Label products.

Since the release of the Pinnacle Black Label the leather products really had my interest. The test vehicle is a 2007 Lexus RX350 with leather seats that have never been cleaned.

    Products Used:
    • Pinnacle Black Label Hide-Soft Leather Cleaner
    • Pinnacle Black Label Hide-Soft Leather Conditioner
    • Pinnacle Black Label Leather & Vinyl Coating
    • Bright Green Microfiber Towel
    • Natural Horse Hair Interior Upholstery Brush
    • MF Sponge Applicator

The leather cleaner was pumped on a smaller brush and then agitated the leather.

    50/50 - Driver Seat

The leather cleaner foams up nice. In the following picture I applied two pumps and agitated the leather.

The smaller brush works great in the crevices but the Natural Horse Hair Interior Upholstery Brush made quick work of the rest of the seat. I can’t imagine using a small brush on an entire leather interior.

    50/50 - Driver arm rest

    50/50 - Driver door

    50/50 - Passenger seat

Leather conditioner pumped on the MF applicator and applied below the tape.

50/50 - Leather Conditioner - The conditioner did appear to slightly darken the leather seat. The conditioner was then applied to the rest of the seat.

50/50 - Leather Coating - With the leather cleaned and conditioned I applied coating to the bottom half of the seat. The coating every so slightly darkened the seat.

Leather Coating - Entire seat is coated

The driver Seat cleaned, conditioned, and coated.

    • The Leather Cleaner foams up nice and has a wonderful leather smell. The pump did not work well since the cleaner is a liquid. I would much prefer to have a sprayer on it.
    • The Leather Conditioner applies very easy and conditions the the leather nice. The leather conditioner also has a leather smell.
    • The Leather Coating applied to a MF applicator spreads very easy and a little goes a long way. It leaves a shiny look until buffed off after a minute. The leather then has a nice matte appearance.

The Pinnacle Black Label leather products did a great job cleaning and I will report back on the durability after some time.

    Thanks for viewing!

Sorry for bumping a really old topic but I'm curious as to the longevity of the leather/vinyl coating. We talking 4-6 months, 12 months, what's up?

    Thanks for the knowledge.

Wow, what a great review!, sometimes bumping an old thread is not a bad thing...

Still actual like it was made today, thanks for that.

    Kind Regards.

I'm not sure why you would use leather products on the armrest and door. Those surfaces are not leather.

The cleaner and conditioner are the same (identical down to description and instructions) as duragloss. I would get those instead considering the price... also duragloss comes with a sprayer on the cleaner which works better like you are thinking it would.

The leather coating is a unique product though.
