Bobby one question did you apply that in direct sun light. Because its say don't apply in direct sun light and needs to be cool and dry. From the pictures it looks like it's in the sun.

All I'm going to say is that I love this stuff. I am one wash and a month into using it and it is holding up strong. I am starting to use it on any exterior trim I can think of. Do you guys think it would work well on the wheel wells?

    Re: CarPro CQuartz DLux Review

Hello. Old thread but I feel this may be the best place for my question. Yesterday, I applied my first coating of Cquartz Dlux on my 2009 Highlander wheels. I used OPC, then alcohol wipe down to prep. My garage is definitely not the best for light and I truly could not see if I overused the product. More than 1/2 the bottle was left after coating 4 wheels.

So I left the coating on too long I think. When I returned to use the small suade buffer sheets included with the box, it took over 10 min to buff and remove 3" of product.

I gave up. You can definitely tell there's product on my wheels. Stripeing and lines are a dead giveaway. I don't think it looks terrible though as this is my daily driver. Should I keep trying to buff? Is there an easier way?

    Thanks all for your help!

You put it on too thick. I wipe and smooth out high spots immediately. You'll need to polish and start over or live with the stripes

Ok. So that's what I thought....too thick and uneven. I'll probably do a 'spot check' on each wheel and ID the super high-spots. Then use something to buff off and start over. I have a Rupes 15 but that's a bit too get into the crevices. I wonder if there's a drill attachment that might make the job easier. Thanks conquistador for your help!
