Review: Solution Finish “Brings Black Back” (Trim Restoration Product)

I go ahead and did a comparision test real quick before work. It's took me around 5 mins to do this. The truck is sitting outside 24/7 and we'll see what happen.

I applied SF on Monday and this is what it look like after 4 days, 40mi., and one rain.

note: SF greasy to the touch. UTTG smooth

So i got an email from Penny...
She basically saying that make sure i follow direction of application process and that i should apply a second coat.

Hopefully my comparision test will show that SF is not good for high traffic area.

I'll keep it only if the result is comparable w/ the UTTG. Otherwise it gotta go back to AG and hopefully they won't give me any grief

I am return the SF since it doesn't compare to the UTTG.

Here is the picture. After four days,maybe 10 mi drive, and one quick wash.

Did you buff off the excess some time after applying SF?

What did you use to clean the trim before applying SF?

How long after application did the car stay dry and free of condensation?

Umm, I think I'm going to pass on the Solution Finish. UTTG is field tested by many on this forum without issues.

Gonna try and test WG ETS vs SF on a bumper, and do a large section with ETS over sf as soon as I get some gloves. Gotta find the time first though...

Yes, i buff off the excess about 5 mins after application

I used this Detailer's Cleanse-All Exterior Surface Cleaner to clean the surface( it comes w/ the kit)

I applied it at 6pm so my guess would be 6-8 hours before the dew set in at night.

I feel UTTG is better at this task and many other tasks.
