Re: Review: Solution Finish “Brings Black Back” (Trim Restoration Product)
Was there ever an update on the red van?
Re: Review: Solution Finish “Brings Black Back” (Trim Restoration Product)
Yes, see page 6 & 7. 2 month update it was still much better than before application but not quite as good as when initially applied.
3 month update: It's still there but could use a second application, a slight bit more fading.

Looks like a good solid review!
Any San Diego Auto Detailing companies using this product? I'd like to come check it out and see how it works in person.
Thanks!

Corey, would it be possible for you to do a side by side with SF topped with UTTG on one side and the new Carpro trim dressing on the other? (I can't remember the name of the Carpro one at the moment). Thanks.

Will do Richy! I'll have it in a couple weeks.
Re: Review: Solution Finish “Brings Black Back” (Trim Restoration Product)
I used Solution Finish a couple weekends ago and it was messy. I am glad I used nitrile gloves.
The watery black (like thin tar) consistency must be a key element in the darkening process. We shall see how it does over the next months.

Corey, I'm sorry but this should occured to me earlier. If one has a case of badly faded trim, where the application of SF should be the first choice (OK>I'm assuming here that SF will dye it better than the DLux will??) then what about topping the SF with DLux? I realize these are 2 expensive products, but for something like an Avalanche or an SUV with really plentiful and visible trim, cost may not be as big a factor as getting it to look great and of course keeping it that way. So, my thoughts are the CQ product for durability and the SF for it's superior dying aspects. It'll be interesting to compare SF's ability to dye compared to DLux.
