    Re: Review: Duragloss Aquawax (#951)

Aqua wax is great stuff. I use it more then anything else. If you are a average Joe that just wants a decent looking car , all you need is a cleaner-wax twice a year clay once a year and Aquawax every month and you got it.

    Re: Review: Duragloss Aquawax (#951)

    1 Month Update:

After almost 3 weeks since being washed in the last update the panel was very dirty.
I sprayed it down with the hose and then washed it with a mf towel and my Xtream ONR-QD. Next I sprayed the hose on it over and over for a video to show sheeting.
Even after a month the polycharged side sheets water faster.
It looks like without polycharger the regular Aquawax side is dead as far as sheeting goes.

    Check out the video:
    Left side is with AWpc
    Middle is with AWoriginal
    Right side is with nothing

    Video:

    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kxJ3Kq6zhQ]YouTube - After 1 Month AW-pc vs AW vs nothing.AVI[/video]

After making the video I dried the panel off gently and rubbed my finger against both sections. Slickness has definitely fallen off noticeably on both sides.

In order to see what kind of abuse the panel has received I snapped a couple shots before making that video or washing the panel...

I am getting more and more impressed with polycharged products, one of these days I may have to pick some up.

I'd get some too, except I enjoy applying new stuff every couple of weeks

I think you guys would enjoy boosting and comparing boost vs. non-boosted versions. The Polycharger H2O doesnt use an accelerant and has a long shelf life. Corey has proven by objective A-B testing in a controlled manner that this stuff indeed add durability isnt a false claim. Tire Gel is showing similar results. Jump in guys. You are geeks and this is pure geek fun IMO!

    Re: Review: Duragloss Aquawax (#951)

So I am sealing my Car with DG 105+601 next weekend. Do I need to invest in Aquawax to maintain the look or can I use the spray waxes and spray sealants that I already own?

I have OCW, Bilt Hamber Hydra Wax, Gtechniq C2V3 & Bilt Hamber Auto QD already but all of these may interfere with the look of DG 105. Or am I over complicating this? Maybe I can simply wash with my favorite DG Rinseless Wash every weekend & it won't need a topper?

    I love DG Aquawax.

But in this case I would say to use your favorite spray wax. The DG Rinseless would be a great option if you like to do rinseless. Some time over-thinking stuff causes us to buy more than we really need...

Troy is right on as usual - DG AW is great but if you already have a product you like why spend more? When you run out then maybe check it out
