Re: Gyeon Mohs Evo and The Curse of the White Perl
Mohs EVO is and has been my go-to coating on vehicles since it was introduced. I still use UK 3.0 and SiC but not nearly as often now. I keep 2-3 50ml bottles in my cabinet.

What kind of shelf life are your seeing after being opened? I've got about 20mL left and wondered how much time I had to figure out what to do with it. CQUK would last several months as long as the lid was tight.

I just used a bottle of the MOHS from the 2018 formula and it was just fine. My garage is climate controlled and they are in a cabinet. Just seal the lids up tight.

Nate,
How's MOHS holding up on the MDX? We just took delivery of a new pilot in platinum white pearl metallic. It's getting PPF right now and then I'll be doing my first coating possibly next week if STL cools down a little. Not much rain to judge with lately but how is the longevity comparing to CQUK?

Also still debating between Mohs and CQUK on my light gray M2 (not pictured). Leaning Mohs.

Both are good. Cquartz SiC is what I found comparable but still lead with the new Mohs EVO lineup. Love it.

Sorry for the late reply. I've been traveling for work and on vacation.
MOHS is doing great so far. Water behavior is fantastic and it looks nice and glossy even when filthy after driving in the rain.
One thing I have noticed with MOHS is bug splatter clean up is easier than any other coating I've used. For most coatings it's not hard, but with MOHS it's almost effortless. I've not had to use bug remover so far and the messes just wipe right off when I'm washing. Even after they've sat for a couple days. Most other coatings need a bit more effort while washing or need to be attacked with a bug remover.
I'm very happy so far. If it holds up for another 1 ~1.5 years It may replay CQUK in my arsenal.
