Re: Car Pro's Reload 2.0
Yes. Not a dramatic change. Hydrophobic’s last through more washes rather than like 2 with the previous version. The beading and sheeting seem to be a bit better as well. Not a huge improvement but better than the first version.

I'm not a coating user- what's Reload similar to?
Beadmaker?

Not really.
EliXir is probably closer to Bead Maker in terms of gloss improvement and longevity.
Reload is a bit more substantial, more so with the new version.

The new Reload 2.0 is a incremental improvement on the original.

Compared to the original, Reload 2.0 is easier to apply with less streaking and less wiping required to deliver a clear finish. You would still use two towels for application though.
After application, the gloss and slickness were certainly very pleasing, the water behavior is great too.
Longevity is said to be improved, be that as a topper or standalone. To me, I don't think its realistic to expect something like this to last a long time, and with the easy application, that really isn't a problem in my opinion.
As Guz mentioned, the improvement is not light years ahead of the original, but the changes are worthwhile and noticeable, to me at least.
If you want to try something different/new, I would definitely have a look at Koch Chemie S0.02, that product blew me away. No idea how long S0.02 is supposed to last, but it's one of the easiest spray sealants I have ever used.

I was mainly referring to application and ease of use.

I agree, I never got upset at the short longevity of Reload due to the fact I could do my Golf in like 10 minutes. So if it lasted only a few washes, oh well.

Re: Car Pro's Reload 2.0
I was tempted to try this being I already have been accumulating quite a few Carpro products. They have slowly become my favorite brand - Reset, Descale, Ech20 being the 3 products I've consistently gone back to.
I have Kamikaze Cleansing on hand and will use that followed by Cquartz Lite.

Re: Car Pro's Reload 2.0
For those who have been using it for several months now, are you seeing much of a durability increase over the original? Or is most of the improvement application?
