This sounds like what CanCoat does if you don't flush the spray head with water and/or APC after each usage. The product hardens in the tube and pray head. Maybe try flushing the spray heads after each use?

I normally just wipe my side and back windows down with ECH2O each time I wash the car. This keeps the glass in good shape and I don't have to work about visibility issues, especially on the back window. The only down side with this approach is winter. I can easily go a month or two without washing the car and in the coldest weather ECH2O doesn't spread very well. I may have to try Quick View as I was pretty disappointed with Auquapel when I used it on my last car.
