    Phoenix EOD Hydra

I had the opportunity to use Phoenix EOD’s new Hydra rinseless wash today….as I have become a big fan of waterless washes and have tried many. My go to has been ONR, and it truly has been a great product. The Hydra diluted 1:128 oz used as a waterless wash really did a great job of removing dirt without leaving streaks or scratches.
I have been using their Titan detailer, Apex soap, and now this Hydra appears to be a quality product. I feel like their new Hydra will be a great addition to my arsenal.

It's not as concentrated as the market leaders. It's 1 oz per gallon. The competition is 0.5 oz per gallon.

Aaron went all in on the 4 horseman theme - maybe jon of forensic's will be next, bit of a conundrum lol He has a 2nd version of apex wash already....first time i seen his new site. If it's even new.

I'd be shocked if it was better than Duragloss Rinseless on a dollar to dollar basis.

I feel like most rinseless will be somewhat the same. Most of these smaller companies are probably getting something standard like Adam’s from B&B.

Not a bad thing as it’s not a bad product but not to many companies are making their own rinseless.

    Griots
    Mckeees
    ONR
    P&S

I would even through th PBMG brands as they blend their own so they can tweek between their different brands

Sure Titan and DIY and the rest are just getting similar products that work.

The SCIENCE behind DIY Detail Rinseless Wash! DIY Detail Podcast #15 - YouTube

Sounds like DIY is another good one. Some formulation talk in this video.

I've yet to use a RW that didn't work well. Been using Feynlab last few times. Cleans exceptionally well. Wets the surface better than ONR. Griot's works similar to ONR. Still love ONR though.

Ech20 is better as a quick high gloss detailer than RW IMO.

I mixed some ECH20 into my Duragloss rinseless as it felt slicker but I wanted some ceramic.

I just noticed they have a foaming version. Is that a discontinued old blend or is it there newest?

    Re: Phoenix EOD Hydra

One thing I have noticed with Hydra vs. others, is that it evaporates really well, rather than leaving streaks after drying. I don't have to go over the car again to remove the streaks, but of course I tend to overapply most products. I don't feel though it's as slick as Wolfgang Uber though, but have been pleased early on.

    Re: Phoenix EOD Hydra

I like when it evaporates well and doesn't streak. Ech20 is the one RW/WW product that gave me a bit of trouble with streaking. Not always. Had to really cut it down at 1:25.

The biggest difference between Feynlab Pure and all the others is how well Feynlab wets the surface. One of the things they mention is how many RW's are repelled by the surface. Feynlab clings to the surface so well where it looks like there is no protection. It's completely flat. It allows it to encapsulate and chemically break down the surface contaminates better, so they say. It's a pretty noticeable difference compared to all the other rinseless products from what I've seen.
