There is nothing wrong with the old version. My video showed the difference in labeling.

    I think it’s a weird name for a product, but it’s better than “coat in a can”…

I've ordered a "can" of Evo and Prep from Autogeek's 20% sale.

For preparation , do you see any issue using BF One Step, let it sit overnight. Day two hit it with Prep then apply Evo.

Yes don’t use an AIO’s prior to a coating. Stick with a polish.

    Thanks,

I've been using AOI's as a polish for years now, I'll order up some Gyeon Primer. This is my first venture into the coating world. My neighbor has a bright red, chrome wheeled, Ram that is perfect to "practice" on.

My vehicles are always show ready. I venture into my neighbor's driveways for candidates to keep my game on, I've never been rejected!

I’m not getting a warm and fuzzy that this metal EVO bottle will seal very well.
Do I need to vacuum bag this bottle in storage?
Or just a tight piece of duct tape around the top cap?
I’d like to get a year or two out of the product on my shelf.

Zip Lock or similar sealing bag?

John- If you are ordering some you’ll see what I mean, it doesn’t look like the twist cap hermetically seals very well, my question is the actual product itself, does it crystallize and go bad like an open container of Cquartz? Or does it hold up well with standard packaging like reload?

    I’ll vacu-seal my “can”…..

So just strictly out of curiosity, how does Cancoat compare to Meguiars hybrid ceramic coat they have? I was flipping through the Ytube and saw Apex did videos on the Megs about a month ago and also Cancoat new/old versions. He liked both products.
I figure Cancoat pulls away from Megs, and really, the Megs is sort of a non issue in Canada as Meguiars Canada doesn't even have the coating up here that I know of.
I was more just wondering how they stack up as I assume they would roughly compete against each other??

Gyeon primer is a pleasure to work with IME. Easy and smooth wipeoff. Blackfire 1 step i would assume is similar.

Jeff of Gyeon wrote an article a while back and he said you only need to use 2 small drops on a 5 inch pad and that's all i ever use.
