Re: Carpro Clarify - initial review

Sorry to hear that you've had this experience. Those streaks are horrible, blinding and dangerous. Not good.

I can appreciate your review/experience with this product even if they do not mirror what I've experienced.

As you stated, sometimes the tried and true/what you've always had positive results with work best!

This sucks to hear Ric but it is refreshing because more often then not when a new product is out most people are giving accolades of how it’s the “best”. I personally like this glass cleaner and mine is actually very slick. One of the reasons I like it so much actually. Do I think it’s the best, no but I do like it. Also I’ve only used on interior glass. FWIW, my interior glass cleaning routine is one round with IPA/water for strong cleaning followed by round 2 of whatever I grab that day. Sometimes it’s D156 if the glass is good after the IPA/water or it may be Stoner’s or Clarify, etc.

Same here. I've been using it for a few weeks and it works great. No issues with streaking, just perfectly clean glass.

Ric, I took it upon myself to order some Clarify as well as a pair of The Gauntlet drying towels. Now let me "clarify", LOL, I'm not doubting your results because you invested alot of time to post this AND your a stand up guy but I had to get in on this chat the best way...by getting the product and trying it myself...just to "clarify" (couldn't help myself)

For the record I've used DG glass cleaner a couple times in the past with good resultsCarpro Clarify - initial review

I don't get fancy glass cleaners. The tried and true Stoners and Sprayway work good enough for me.

Sprayway cleans well for me but I am left with streaks too often. I think the Zap cloth may eliminate them for me in my humid environment.
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.
