Is a topper like the Wet Wax necessary? I was going to purchase the BlackFire ceramic coating for my black MDX but am not sure how much longer I am going to keep it, so I just purchased the TW Ceramic Spray and am now wondering do I need to top it with something like Wet Wax.

IMO if your base needs a topper to get gloss, slickness, beading or whatever, than why bother with the base and just use the topper.


Oh, and if you think that the topper is giving you added protection, just do 2 coats of the topper.

That's what I was thinking. But I had been thinking about what I will use for a drying aid because I have used a drying aid like Chemical Guys V7 for a while and might would use the TW Wet Wax as a drying aid. I will apply two coats of the TW Ceramic Spray and see how that does.

That seems to be a good combo.

I use it between wax jobs after a wash and it makes beading pretty impressive and it will last a few weeks, perfect for what I need it for.
