No i feel Frothe is THE safest. Others may be great also and as i stated i got good results from SS. Just use what I feel is best YMMV.

How would you compare it to Ech2O? It's the safest WW I've tried, but that isn't saying much since I've only tried 1~2 others. I do like it however and have safely cleaned my black, pollen covered or lightly dusty cars with out an damage.

I’m a big WW guy but always use my best instinct when deciding what method to wash my vehicle based on all factors. For winters, I always pre-soaked with WW and then Rinseless wash. I never had too much pressure on me because I always polish my vehicles in spring / summer as needed, so if there’s some minor swirling after a winter of non-traditional washes, so be it. All my cars are daily drivers. But with that said, my cars/paint come out pretty in good shape after winter.

But this is the first year I have a coated car (Q5) so I have finally invested in Frothe after much nudging from c=c (and my own curiosity of course). Being extra paranoid about causing any marring during WW / RW routines, figured this situation combined with Xmas sales was a good time to Frothe it.

Note that I often use these ceramic QDs (Megs HCD fur example and this GCSS would fall really gut in line) as a final wipe after a WW / RW. This allows me to quickly dry my WW/RW without worrying about every streak I may have missed, and then come back with a 5-10 minute QD wipe down for that little extra shine, protection and knowing that it’s cleaning and lubricated enough to safely take care of even heavier streak areas.

Frothe is a foaming waterless wash. Feel it encapsulates dirt better and towels glide on the paint. Klasse is right about feel kinda feels like your scooping the foam off. I still use EE as i feel the trap dirt better but yes it does feel “looser”? Kinda like driving a 70’s musclecar vs a newer musclecar.

I use to pre soak but now i let the frothe do the work. I use 1st towel to remove bulk of foam and contamination. 2nd towel and a drying aid to dry. I use mainly Ammo Hydrate (amazing product).

If car is particularly dirty i may spray again with Ech20 or Mckee’s N-914 and then dry with hydrate.

I use to presoak before frothe but i felt this diluted the frothe. With the frothe being foam it dwells better.

Spray the frothe.... let it dwell. If needed spray more on it. What foamer are you using? Did you also buy Hydrate?

No we get snow maybe once or twice a year so not two worried about salt. Knock on wood but neverchad rust issues with any car i’ve own so just didn’t see the beed for boost.
