I meant a joke by having the six month photos dated correctly, so everyone would do the math and see that I had it on for NEGATIVE six months.
I see how my sentence could be read wrong, though.

Re: Jeep Wrangler Hard Top with Carpro DLux Longevity Test

    Update:

    11/23/2020 (hah, remembered this time).

Rained last night. I had QD'd the top about 6 days ago, with Mckee's N-914 (like this on my coated cars, since there are no added toppers). Also don't know whether I can mention that brand, because it doesn't seem to be sold by AG anymore, although it was when I bought it.

Anyway...same shots, with an additional 3rd shot up the middle, where the rain seemed to pool more:

Re: Jeep Wrangler Hard Top with Carpro DLux Longevity Test

    Update

Jeep has gone through 1 major snowstorm (here in Greater NYC), and I grabbed these shots after the rain yesterday.

It was Waterless washed about 1 week ago, and 2 rinseless washed prior to that (N-914 at the usual ratios).

It seems as if the top itself is fairing better than the bumpers; the photos will show what I mean, I think.

Yes, the bird bomb has been removed

Could just be contaminated. A rinseless wash is good but a contact wash still does a better job. You could always reapply another coat at anytime.

Understood...a little cold for the full wash yet, but will do so, and post results.

Reapplying a coat will make sense; just trying to see how long before that is needed.

Re: Jeep Wrangler Hard Top with Carpro DLux Longevity Test

All...I must apologize for not keeping this thread updated as I had promised. Just after my last post, lost my job, Covid kicked in, etc. etc.

If anyone is still interested, the DLux kept the top well protected until November, 2021. Just about a year. Well worth it, since I had plenty left over to reapply.
