Review - Dr. Beasley's Ceramic Body Wash

Product: Dr. Beasley'''s Ceramic Body Wash

I have used this car shampoo a couple of times and based on my experience it works very well. I know the first thing that will come to everyone's mind is that it is expensive. With Dr. Beasley's the user is paying a little extra for a quality product which this is. Autogeek only sells the small bottle which is good for 12 washes, less if used in a foam cannon or foam gun. Feel free to use my discount code MIKEG to order directly from Dr. Beasley's to get 15% off the gallon size.

Lets see who the first person is to post that it is expensive

The name can cause some confusion as some would think it is ceramic infused because of the name. Well this wash does not contain any ceramic to leave protection behind. The shampoo is meant to be safe for ceramic coatings by not containing any wax or gloss enhancers. And yes it can be used on waxes or sealants.

    • Cleans well
    • Good lubricity
    • Rinses clean
    • Smells amazing to give that luxurious wash feeling
    • Nice suds

Here is the video of the weekend wash using it. The Diamond Protech Diamond Body coating sure is hydrophobic.

But seriously Guz......Reset is on the expensive side too. Aside from the smell, how would you rate the two soaps in the other four categories?

This fits the same niche as the cosmetics industry in which certain body soaps are sold at higher retail prices due to "premium" ingredients. So if you want to give your vehicle a "luxurious" car wash then I guess this would fit the bill.

Me personally, I'll stick with more affordable soaps that do the job while still providing an enjoyable user experience.

    Thanks for your review.

It does a good job as an option to use with coatings.

Is this designed to be a Reset competitor, i.e. it is stronger than a "normal" soap, or is it simply meant to be good for coatings because it doesn't leave anything behind?

It is a dedicated soap for ceramics so it does not leave residue that needs excessive rinsing to remove it from the surface. This is from their description. From this one can take that it is a Reset competitor and having more cleaning power that a regular soap. I will say that it is comparable to Reset in lubricity. I do not let my cars get excessively dirty so I can not say if it will deep clean like Reset is known to do.

A gentle yet effective car wash soap for nano-coated vehicles, Ceramic Body Wash is super-concentrated to give you half a year’s worth of maintenance washes. Using powerful “smart” surfactants, Ceramic Body Wash breaks down contaminants without the need for excessive agitation. Help maximize your coating’s lifespan – get Ceramic Body Wash today!
