    Hybrid solutions cermaic wet wax

Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wet Wax - 53410

Having their P&W on plus 2 coats of the spray coating, it was time to maintain and move on to their wet wax. After the vehicle is washed leave wet. Apply 2- sprays per panel on a wet surface. As a drying aid. I used RC Pluffle drying towel. It was interesting to see the water behavior as it hit the surface. VERY HYDROPHOBIC. Made drying very easy. Only needed 1 towel. NO STREAKS OR SMEARS. Scent is fantastic. The finish left behind was AMAZING. In you face shine and depth. This product is CRAZY GOOD. Every once in awhile a product comes out that is a game changer and makes detailing easy and fun. This product is it.

I agree with all you said. I love this stuff and it really does leave some serious protection behind on its own. I already ordered more. This product alone has changed my view on TW and their future.

I just picked up a bottle to try on a friends vehicle, any idea how long the protection lasts? This will be the only layer of protection on the vehicle. Hoping it will last a couple months? I have experience with hydro blue and hydro2, how does the wet wax compare? TIA

    Hi Tim

I have seen at least 2 months as a stand alone in my personal experience. After 2 months, vehicle came in for a full detail. It was still beading and sheeting but not as strong when first applied. It’s possible to get 3 months depending on how you care for the paint and environment conditions.

As far as a comparison, I can not honestly answer Since I never did a side by side but I would venture to say they are close.

    Hope that helps a bit!

And Wet Wax is just a drying aid, right? No spray and rinse application to my knowledge.

I also used Wet Wax for the first time as a drying aid after a thorough post-winter wash. The cars still need their decon spring prep but I applied it anyway.

It does make drying much easier (faster mostly). Very simple product to use. Definitely no streaks and adds gloss.

On its own it doesn't really have great self cleaning properties. If anything dirt and water seem to stay on the paint vs the experience of the car getting a wash with just rain. I imagine that's due to the wax content in the bottle vs a more ceramic based product. I will withhold judgement though until I can prep and apply the hybrid ceramic coating as a base.

Thanks for the reminder, I'm not sure why in my head I was thinking it was a similar application as the hydro2

Re: Hybrid solutions cermaic wet wax

Just tried this tonight. I haven’t seen the gloss in decent light yet, but it certainly did it’s job of thinning out water and making the drying process easy. From that perspective alone this seems as good as any drying aid I’ve used. And great price.

    Well done, Turtle.
