Seems any of the Sio2 washes do not produce suds and also aren’t snow foam friendly. I believe it’s a trade off for the protection it lays down.

I’m ok with that because suds do not really do anything..... the lubricity is in the solution, not the suds anyway. Think of rinseless products..... they are all non sudsing.

Yea, and most people don’t rinseless wash vehicles that are really dirty.

I wish I could say I’m most people, but being stuck in the Midwest dealing with terrible winters, sometimes you just have to make do with what the weather deals you.. I’ve unfortunately RW’d many dirty vehicles over the years.

I waterless wash vehicles that most people would maybe rinseless...

But If it’s beyond that fine line I feel like I might as well get the hose out.
    I rarely rinseless wash..

Re: Tw hybrid solutions afternoon detail

If it gets over 40 here middle of winter all the pay and spray places are packed, people get rude waiting more than a few minutes and really isn’t worth my time(and sanity dealing with some people). I do spray the panels heavily before putting a “mitt to the grit” so to speak, but can’t get away from a rinseless when the dirt accumulates so quickly and heavily.

Thank God it’s my last Midwest winter as I’ll be migrating south this summer! (And last year in an apartment!)

Sorry to take the thread off topic, I bought the Hybrid Solutions line a month or so ago and am waiting patiently to try every product! Thanks for the review on the wash!

Man I feel for you guys that have to deal with that type of weather... I can’t even imagine having to wait months to use unopened new products and all that crazy stuff you describe. Lol

Haha I open most of them to do a “sniffy sniff” test then seal them up and wait for nicer weather..

Now imagine having to deal with that type of weather and staring at your detailing shelves, closets, etc while all the a-holes from Cali post of pics of clean shiny rides year round!

Who said anything about rinseless washing? I was using rinseless washes as an example that suds are NOT required for lubricity.

You said “suds do not do anything anyway”

I disagree, I believe suds are beneficial when it comes to washing a dirty vehicle... Always have. I’ve stated my opinion many times including just the other day.

Personally, if a a bucket wash lacks rich suds it just doesn’t feel right and I won’t settle for it.

The only time I’d want low suds is when doing a rinseless wash. And is it just coincidence that rinseless washing works much better when done on lightly dirty/well protected paint?
    The evidence is everywhere.
Consider that an open challenge to anyone who disagrees.Tw hybrid solutions afternoon detailTw hybrid solutions afternoon detail
