Re: Best Ceramic Coating for New Orca Black Metallic Audi
I would say not if you wash the car in a safe way. Use plenty of mitts and a shampoo with plenty of lubrication. Don’t let too much time go between washes and my favorite, use a foam gun, and you ought to be fine.
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.

Very likely you’d see some marring or swirls after a year. Happens to all colors but on black it’s super visible.
No gliss over Lite.

You must wash better than me. I have a foam cannon and use multiple mitts and still get swirls within a few months, much less than a year.

Coatings are not impervious to swirls. They still form a thin layer of protection.
It does handle swirling better than a wax or sealant.
You don’t have to use Gliss of Lite. Search for my review on Lite. Add Carpro Elixir into the mix and you are good to go for maintenance. Use reload only after the initial application to protect from water spots. Get the small bottle of it.
Check out Esoteric’s new video on Gyeon CanCoat. Add their maintenance product cure and you will be good for about a year.
Seems like you are not ready for a full coating and these two make good options as previously mentioned.
If you want a one coat coating Adams, Jade Ice. Search for my coating 1 year test as well.

Thanks everybody for you comments. I'm going to give CQuartz Lite a try after I remove MgCl2 stains and swirl marks.
