Collinate 845..I had to do it

I've been an Autogeek member since 2011 and have become a self inflicted wax junky. I have a decent selection of house waxes and was even given Zymol Royale to try by a local AG member. But all the praises of Collinite 845 got the better of me. Honestly the price ($20 when not on sale) kept me away. It was just to "cheap" for a wax. I know that's not intelligent but as an enthusiast I did not mind plunking down some money for my collection. Anyway I finally bought 845. Tried it, like it. Went on easy, removed easy and left a deep glossy reflection. That's a great start in my book. Have to see about the durability in this upcoming Michigan winter now.

I've had it and used it off and on over the years.

I applied it yesterday for a friend and man I forgot how good it is!

It is a good product but it is difficult to apply in the winter. I am always concerned about the product gelling up if I am using it outside and it is 35 degrees. I use it for the winter and I can get a good 3-4 months out of it.

    Yep

I had the bottle soaking in hot water for about an hour before using it.

    I used inside the garage

    About 50 degrees

Mine I keep in my laundry room and it stays watery. It does separate on top a bit but then a few seconds of shaking and it’s at the desired buttermilk consistency... ready for use. I guess I got a lucky bottle or my laundry room is just perfect temperature.

    •$20.00...for a Car Wax?
    -That’s not too cheap, IMO.

    •In fact:
-$20.00 is fast approaching the maximum
amount I’m willing to pay for a Car Wax.

    my bragging about FK1000P? Nah.}

Re: Collinate 845..I had to do it

I can remember far back buying it when it was about $11-$12 no matter where. With the good sales here, it still can be gotten quite cheap, and no matter the cost it truly is a great product.

Really hallmark products the collinite waxes. You're going to love the beading.

They leave a very nice hard shell feel to the paint, #476 even more so IMO.

I am NOT a Collinite Fanboy. That being said, in your area of severe climate, 845 seems to be the choice! Either way, KEEP ON ROCKING!
