Is the dyeing effect anywhere near as good as Solution Finish?

Re: Product Review: Pinnacle Black Label Ceramic Trim Restorer
I used this stuff friday on surgically clean trim That was also wiped down with panelwipe. I used a foam applicator. I got some nasty high spots. I guess I didn't spread it thin enough or wiped it to lightly with the microfiber. What can I do to fix it? Luckily I only did the rear bumper and wheel wells. The wheel wells look fine but the back bumper looks terrible.
I'm wondering if a second coat would fix it or if there is a way to get it off. I'll post in mikes official thread later if no one knows?

It is possible the trim absorbed it differently. Go over it again and see if that helps.

When I first used it I applied too much and had the same results. I redid it with a thin applicator and wiped down with a terry towel and it looked great.

So just give it another panel wipe then relayer. Okay I will do this. Is there any benefit to relayering otherwise or doing 2 coats? I was wondering about that. It looks great otherwise. The 2 wheel wells came out good.
