Just a bad angle. They look pretty much the same.

    Thanks the review!

I applied 2 coats of C Quartz Lite on Monday evening and the car has been tucked away in my garage.

We've been experiencing really heavy rainfall in Durban(South Africa) over the last couple of days.

I've read numerous posts regarding water spots on coatings. Is it absolutely necessary for me to top with reload to avoid this?.

This has become my favorite way to dispense the coating. Pull the stopper plug and use a pipette.

    Essence + CQ Lite

It is recommended to apply reload to protect the coating from water spots during the curing time frame.

This is a fantastic review too by the way, thanks The Guz.

I have been doing a bunch of CQuartz Lite installations in the shop. I know this is a consumer based coating but it is a great entry level coating & a fantastic introduction into the ceramic coating world for customers.

Super easy to up sell & a great performer too. Enjoy working with it.

... my last CQuartz Lite - New Mazda 2.

It is a 2019 Chevrolet Blazer RS in Nightfall Gray Metallic that came in for a semi new car prep.

Both cars looks amazing Mike and Aaryn!

This is something I consider when spring comes. Essence and CQ lite combo that is.

Do you guys apply 2 layers of CQ lite?

    / Tony

    Review - CarPro Cquartz Lite

For those curious what is inside the applicator. I soaked it in strong dose of microfiber cleaner after use. It was not salvageable. Turned crispy.

There is a thin foam inner liner with a thin layer of plastic on one side of the foam.

    Up close of the liner.

The other side is just foam

The design works and it does keep the coating from being absorbed into the foam core. But I have to give it to the Autofiber coating saver applicators for having the better design.

Not to mention the foam core can be utilized for other applicators.
