Re: Review - CarPro Cquartz Lite

Thank you for the review. I appreciate the follow up’s and professionals’ feedback. My question is after coatings cure does its hardness protect against fine scratches or swirls?

All coatings are susceptible to swirls and scratches without proper care.

Thanks. To correct them is compound polish strong enough or wet sanding required?

A polish will remove a consumer coating for sure.

Re: Review - CarPro Cquartz Lite

For those that doubt Cquartz Lite and don’t consider it a true coating this should debunk that myth.

This is my original bottle that Avi sent me prior to the release of this coat. Just shy of a year it became unusable and started to gel up. It has a 1 year shelf life.

I emptied this bottle out last year and that product turned to glass in another container. Today I was moving my empty coating bottles to a cabinet in the garage and I heard a rattling sound in this bottle.

Low and behold a crystallized ring formed at the bottom of the bottle from whatever product was left.

Was 1 year with the bottle opened?
Is there any other applicators you would recommend other than the Auto fibre?

    Per carpro

*This coatings shelf life expectancy is approximately 12-14 months unopened, and 6 months or less once opened.*

As far as applicators buy the CQ Lite kit and it comes with applicators. Autofiber applicators are great.
