Re: Review - CarPro Cquartz Lite

Great review Mike! I applied CQ Lite earlier this week, definitely feels like a true full blown coating. This doesn't feel any less difficult to work with compared to CQUK 3.0 from what I remember on standard application. The 150ml amount and price point is a great value, a clear advantage over Gyeon One with better application. Gliss V2 is a stunner as well, awesome improvement over the inconsistent bonding issues I had with V1.

Thanks. Looking forward to your video on it.

I agree with you on Gliss V2. Experienced issues with V1 bonding on bare paint. That is the reason I removed it from the trunk panel and went with CQ Lite.

Gus, does Lite or Gliss have any filling abilities?

You call Pan by the name of Pam and me Gus lol. Just giving you a hard time.

I find coatings to have a light filling capability. Lite sure did make the red test good look better with the deep defects still in it.

I can’t recall if Gliss has any filling ability. I’ve used it as a topper and when I used it as a stand alone it was in a freshly polished surface.

Thanks Mike, as far as Pam, just yanking her chain.

This applicator would work but I prefer the autofiber coating saver microfiber applicators for coatings. They have an inner liner that keeps the center foam from absorbing too much product.

Thanks for the review I purchased this couple weeks ago but haven’t had time to apply it because waiting on my polisher I just ordered today so I can correct my paint first but am excited to apply it..

I understand detail guys like the coatings on their cars but come on. We are topping every week or every other week aren't we?

I'm trying cosmic glass coat on my next detail but I'll be topping it. The best thing you can do to avoid water spots on a coating ironically is to top it with carnauba wax so we come full circle.

I like those 2 face towels

Edit: Awesome review guz! Nice job as usual.
You're looking at wrong typesof Coatings

Check out the rubber membrane based or graphene based

Thanks Mike. I couldn’t find those applicators at AG but found them on Amazon. I also ordered CQuartz lite today from AG.
