Wow thanks for the update Eldorado.

The more I've read and researched, it seems the AIOs are good for detailers offering a 1 step package. To spruce up a customers car, who will not pay for a 2 step or complete correction.

For my friends and family cars, it may be easier to use Boss Correcting cream, followed by an easy to apply sealant and be done.

Couldn’t have said it any better... Boss Correcting Cream can even be used in direct sunlight too. You’ll have better luck using it in the sun than you will most sealants. Lol.

Eldo, I assume your brother’s Jeep had no base LSP, just the D156 applied a month ago?

I knew HD Speed wasn’t durable, but being totally gone after 5-6 days is disappointing. I should note that I’ve never tested longevity with it as I’ve always topped within a week or two, but in my experience there was still some beading at the 1-2 week point.

The paint on my brothers Jeep was as bare as can be. Zero beading prior to washing and zero during the post wash rinse. I used D156 liberally as a drying aid. I was very surprised at how it was beading when I 1st rinsed it down. The beading was just as strong post wash too. Crazy.

This is how dirty it was to give you an idea of how neglected it usually is... Well maybe neglect isn’t the right word, it’s just on the road alot. A true workhorse.

You think your wash caused the scratches, or just something you hadn’t noticed previously?

No these weren’t wash induced... These are deep dare I say deliberate scratches. Either that or these people with CUV’s are even more annoying than thought possible.HD Speed still a great product

Can we talk about the topping abilities of Speed? Rather, what products are ok to top speed with. Do you need to IPA wipe before topping with anything? Is it ok to top with a coating or coating lite?

You can go right to Poxy after Speed. Very synergistic.
