Pretty useless video. What makes Aquapel good is the durability. If you want hydrophobic effects, any wax, sealant or even cheap products like Rain-X will give it to you, but none of these will last 6 months on the windshield. So showing it still works after 2 weeks is a total waste of time.

I am happy with Griot's Garage Glass Sealant for $8 for 8-oz bottle. I have done about 8+ cars with it and last at least a couple of months. Trick with any of the products is to clean the windshield glass frequently. All that road film is on the glass and will not allow the product to work as intended. And I too have Aquapel on one car and reaching the 6-month point, still works. Only issue is that it is a one-time application product.

I have to agree, I always enjoyed Griots Glass Sealant. Works well and easy to apply.
Doing a full polish and recoat on the car this weekend, going to try the new Mothers Spray Coating on the Windshield just to see how it is on the windshield.

I’ve heard good things about the griots but have yet to experience it. I just ordered some aqualpel with my order this weekend. I actually enjoyed rainx 2-1 cleaner/ rain repellent. It’s cheap and easy to use but as stated before the most I ever got was 2 months. But that was actually after religiously never using my wipers. Most of the time i got about 3-4 weeks out of it.
