I don’t like the idea of wiping of any polish with a damp cloth. Just don’t see how it could be streak free, especially with a bunch of residue on it.

No objections from me, I was just curious.

It just looks ridiculously easy to remove in their videos when the towel is damp with ONR.

I’ve always wanted to try their approach with the pad washer and their polish/compound. Maybe some day

Hyper Polish is definitely my favorite polish. Just opened my second gallon.

Yeah, the OPT polishes are good products that don't get much attention.

The reason it is great is: no dust and the sprayable polish idea is brilliant & just works. So much nicer than glopping lotion polish all over.

If I ever need to buy polish again - I would buy HyperPolish as a first choice just cuz it’s sprayable
I agree...the only problem is, at least for me, I wind up spraying as much polish on the pad as I do on my arm, the polisher, the car, the side of the house, etc. Also, a lot of people complain about the sprayers breaking, I had never had that problem, only some clogging since I don't use them that often, but last time I used my GPS I was kind of stunned when the sprayer broke. I think it may have been clogged, usually a good squeeze unclogs the polishes, maybe the sealant in GPS clogs it harder...

Which one? It seems like they have had 6 compounds (nobody remembers the first OPT polishes from 10+ years ago that were optimized for rotary, including a non-sprayable Hyper Compound). Then they had the blue Hyper Compound, then the orange, then they changed the orange to "Intensive Compound" and came out with a new white Hyper Compound.

The Optimum polishes used to separate on me and you were unable to mix them up again no matter how much you shook them. Is that still happening?

I haven't had that happen...I think that was when they first went to the "water-based" formulations, and I didn't buy any in that period...when did you have that happen, around 2010? If I'm remembering right the polishes came out in around 2007 and they were "solvent-based" as in mostly solvent, they were really more of a lubricating medium for rotary polishing without that much emphasis on the abrasives.

Then a few years later they switched over to the "water-based" which were more creme and those had some bio problems and would separate or go rancid, but they fixed those problems, AFAIK.

Thanks Setec. It was probably about that time period. I was buying them because they were sun friendly. I kept having to throw away 2/3 full bottles.

I just used Hyperpolish a couple of weekends ago on our Toyota and liked the results as well. I wish it was a little bit more agressive, but overall it worked quite nicely and produced a really nice shine.
