Re: Tire Dressing Face Off #2 - PERL, Megs Tire Gel, Duragloss 253, Chemical Guys VRP
A tip to make PERL last longer is to buff the tire with a MF after it has dried. The rubber will become slick. Then apply 2nd layer of PERL. Buff it again after it has dried. It will be even slicker. It won't wash away in the rain nearly as fast.
I love that slightly rainbow colored satin effect PERL has on the rubber while also being a deep black.
A good head to head would be the GG Satin, DG253 and Gyeon Tire. To me they all look very similar and have about the same durability.

I added #253 to my last order. Best thing I ever did. The hype was dead on. I applied it with a speedmaster tire dressing applicator. One coat yielded perfect results. And upon inspection of the body panels yesterday, no sling off.

Glad I am not the only one that experienced this...
