    Review: Blackfire Bug Remover

On my last order Meghan was kind enough to throw in a bottle of the new Blackfire Bug Remover spray. This is a concentrated spray specifically designed to remove bugs and bug splatter from your paint finish. I have used Blackfire Bug Remover so far on 2 details and have been pretty impressed with the results.

    Product Description:

    Blackfire Bug Remover
    Cost: 32 oz for $32.99

BLACKFIRE Bug Remover is a gentle cleaning formula that will safely and effectively remove insect remains from your vehicle’s paint, glass, plastic, vinyl, and aluminum surfaces. BLACKFIRE Bug Remover is concentrated to double your cleaning power with just one spray and can be tailored to meet your specific needs. Use BLACKFIRE Bug Remover as a spot treatment immediately after contact, or as a pre-treatment to make your washes even more effective!

The first vehicle I used it on was driven back and forth from Georgia and had a nasty accumulation of bugs on the front grille and bumper. I applied Blackfire's Bug Remover and let it dwell for approximately 2 minutes. The product has a nice consistency that causes it to cling to the surface to help in break down the bug material. I lightly agitated with a soft mesh bug sponge and rinsed clean. Overall I was very pleased with how the product worked and didn't notice any degradation of the LSP.

Thanks for the review. Looks like a nice product. Meghan sent me a bottle as well but I have yet to use it since we don't get the bug infestations in my area.

Bugs, you want bugs, here's some stinking bugs!!!

Love bug season is in full swing in the Tampa Bay area.

I was laughing yesterday reading the thread about pollen.

    Try these on for size.

I just took these pics, this was from two days of driving. These bad boys and girls will permanently etch your paint in 2-3 days. It was 90 today and the sun bakes these onto every surface of your vehicle like epoxy.

I'm going to go at these with my Sonax Bug Remover and Sonax Bug Sponge.

This is my hood even with a bug deflector.
And how you see those streaks is exactly how the etch the paint will look, you can never get them out, the acid in them etches the clear coat. It is impossible to buff it out once it's etched in there.

    No Love for these Bugs.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.
