    Vapor chief 125 review

Brief review since I haven't tried it on my truck because it's too damn cold outside & I don't have an indoor garage. Only used it to clean my bathroom, couch & kitchen floors so far. 1st impression was how rugged the actual machine is & it literally is build like a tank. Start up to operating temps takes about 15 mins give or take a couple of minutes. The holding tanks for the water & apc are huge & a single fill up is more then enough depending on job of course. My first use took about 3 hours & there was plenty of water left for more cleaning. At almost the lowest setting, I was not impressed with the heat coming out of it & thought there was an issue. Contacted the owner & he stated it was normal of all steam cleaners& to try the attachment with the bonnet/ towel wrapped around for a hotter steam. Played around with the attachment to clean my couch & it was hotter but still wasn't satisfied. Increased the pressure slightly & WOW! It made a world of difference & did get much hotter.

This is my first "commercial" grade steamer & don't have anything to compare it too & asides from the price I'm very satisfied with the unit. One of the reason I chose this versus other brands is because the heating elements are located outside of the boiler which I believe will contribute to its durability. I hope this review will help someone as I couldn't find many consumer reviews. Looking forward to use it on my truck.

I bought the vp for household cleaning too which would be nearly impossible for an optima. I've only had the vp at 1/4 of its pressure & it's pretty damn powerful. Haven't actually used it on my truck since it's cold, rainy & snow coming soon but will update once i do
