Dakota Non-Smoke Cigarette Smoke Odor Eliminator - AMAZING!!!
http://www.autogeek.net/smoke-odor-eliminator.html
FYI, its available in multi-packs on AG.
This stuff is Phenomenal!!!!!!!! Thats all i got to say, have a good day! J/K!
Customer brought me the truck in the link below to do an exterior, interior, and engine bay detail. His main concern was the smoke smell on the interior though. The truck was his father in laws (2 purple heart recipient). He recently passed away and they were selling the truck. He had a very interested buyer but the guy wanted the smoke smell GONE, permanently. Not just for a week. His father in law smoked cheap cigars since the day he bought it new in 2011, luckily it only had 40K and not 150K, lol. I did a lot of investigation both in and out of Autogeek and found this product. I did not read a single bad review anywhere on this product for removing the smoke smell, just that it "smelled like an old person". Its used in restaurants, hotels, casinos, etc... Its so easy to use also. I asked him to drop the truck off Friday so i had to weekend to use the product and to detail it since i had to work Saturday for 6 hours. Friday night when he dropped the truck off, i gave the interior a very heavy dose of this spray, after doing a small test spot for 1 hour of a direct shot to the carpet under the seat, to black carpet and it didnt stain or leave any sort of a mark/residue at all. I let the heavy dose sit inside the truck with the windows closed, over night. The next morning before i went into work i hit it again with a heavy dose and let it sit in the sun for the 6 hours i was at work. I came home and did the interior detail and the engine bay and then hit the interior again with it. The next day i finished the truck and had the doors open a lot to let it air out. Sunday morning he had stopped over and had smelled the inside of the truck and was AMAZED at how there was no smoke smell at all. When he picked it up Sunday evening he had his wife get in the drivers seat and she said all she could smell was a scent of something. I told her it was the spray i used. She said she liked it as it kind of smelled like a new vehicle or even like an old persons car. I laughed. They were both so happy to have the smoke smell gone b/c that was their main concern. The owner said with the way the truck looks and smells, he is not budging on the price he was asking. I highly recommend keeping this product in your arsenal. I bought 2 bottles just from reading all the reviews. I didnt even use half of 1 bottle on this truck. Most cars, for smoke smells, wont take as much as i used. The cigar smell in this truck was absolutely horrible.

Nice writeup!
I have used the "No Smoke" several times and have always had great results. My barber recently bought a new-to-her car, and it came with cigar smoke smell too. I gave her the can of "No Smoke" to try first, and a Dakota Odor Bomb as a backup. She reported back that the "No Smoke" took care of the smell just fine.

My buddy sells cars for a living out of his home garage, I detail about 35 cars a year for him and it never fails, at least 2-3 a year have smoke smell in them. But thanks to No-smoke they don't when they leave. I do similar to what you did cept I detail first then bomb it and leave for 10-20 hours closed up (while washing and polishing the ext. Then open for 5-6 hours at the end cause No-smoke has a pretty strong scent if you leave it closed up!

The truck came to me smelling so bad, i had to do one good dose first, lol. Since i had the car for 2 nights, i was able to use those nights to let it sit closed up. I did the windows (inside and out) last just in case it left anything on them. Which it didnt, so i was happy! While i did the door jambs and finishing interior/exterior touches i was able to let it air out. After letting it sit closed up for those 8 or so hours, it didnt have a potent smell anymore when i opened the doors.

Is this safe for headliners as well?
I bought a 2017 Malibu from Hertz... and they detailed it before delivery. It smelled ok like a fresh cleaning. A week later I started to smell the stale smell of old smoke. Its not REALLY bad... but I hate it and want any trace gone. Is this the product I should use?

I've never had good luck trying any of these "Bomb" type products, the smell always seems to come back. Always a thorough interior cleaning is best but I may have to give these a try.
