There's a lot of variables what type of paint hard soft types of clear coat all that are going to take into consideration anything Meguiars especially the 105 205 combination I consider the standard I usually try to start with those and then adjust as necessary and then you'll start to learn which compounds and polishes will work better for which paint systems most detailers will have a few Polishing Compound on hand for this reason but you can really never go wrong with 105 and 205 as like I said they're basically the standard and there's not too many things they can't get accomplished

But 105 is so dusty so I prefer 100 but that almost to aggressive on lots of paints. Just trying to figure this out cause have had lots of trouble with caddilac black paint and subura black paint with leaving cut marks or maring after use? Yes I do test spot and that what I get for results?
