Review - McKees Gloss Tire Gel
Got this as a free sample in my last order from McKees. As some of you may know, I've been a devoted user of Chemical Guys VRP for quite a while. It does not hurt to see if you like something else better, and since I was already trying the Tire/Rubber rejuvenator, and it was free, why not complete the tire process all the way. The Rubber Rejuvenator got the tires very clean, and the application instructions are very simple. I used a foam applicator, I believe Nick used a microfiber applicator in his video. It really did not matter, though, as this product went on very smoothly and evened out nicely with the foam. I applied it under very humid conditions, and I did let it sit for a while before driving. I deliberately did not dress the wheel wells so I'd be able to see any sling 'spots' on the black plastic. To my surprise, I saw none.....zero....nada. A single coat was all that was needed, and the tires look awesome.
I used about an ounce to do all four (18 inch) tires. Will follow up in about three weeks, to see how it's holding up, as that's about as long as I get with VRP. I order very few gallons of anything, but this might be one...it's first impression was that good.

It's a good product but doesn't last long. One week, 10 days at most if you don't get rain. I have to apply every time I wash.

Must be good. Not one bad review on it in the store.

I find it to last weeks if it doesn't get wet. It'll even make it through a wash or two if you're not hard on it (i.e. light rinse only, no scrubbing). One coat simply makes tires look new. More coats adds shine. Great product.

Re: Review - McKees Gloss Tire Gel
I like it, one of few CG products I like. It lasts decently well, as long as you don't get stuck in the rain. It's fine with me since it's water-based. I've been using that and another water based brand I got that isn't available here.
I've never applied to to plastics or any trim.

Re: Review - McKees Gloss Tire Gel
I just used some this weekend on my Dodge Ram. Very easy to use and pretty impressive shine. I am curious to see how long it lasts.
