Re: Silica Spray Showdown: McKee's v. Gyeon v. CarPro
Thanks for doing this! I wanted to wait for your test to be revealed to make my decision on which to buy, but I decided to pull the trigger on one and hope after my research that I made the best choice for me. When I voted on the one I thought looked the best I voted "B" and lo and behold that's the one I bought. Thanks again for doing this as it solidified my choice in my mind.

BTW,
The polls I posted were from Survey Monkey. The poll on this thread can be see at the top of the page. There obviously was no majority and people felt Wet Coat and Hydro Blue were pretty on par with another third not being able to tell the difference.

I think I'm gonna do this same test with cancoat, Sonax PNS, megs fast finish. Very Interested in them but 3 months is such a long time to leave a product on..lol
Great results man, thanks for doing this

Thanks, all.
The wife is a good sport about all this stuff. Sometimes I think she pats me on the head and then rolls her eyes!

Re: Silica Spray Showdown: McKee's v. Gyeon v. CarPro
Absolutely solid post! Loved reading all of it. I have been a huge fan of Hydro2 Lite once I figured out a good pace to do a whole vehicle with it. I had spotting issues first run on a red WRX but that was my bad. Since then it has been a go-to time saver and seems to work well. It has been on my wheels for about 2 months now and is still beading pretty well to let me know it's there. I even sprayed my tires jokingly and those beaded water for a couple weeks also lol. Science! I love science threads like this.
I commend your efforts sir! Nice work.

I don't know if I'm just too used to full on coatings, but I don't bother buying products like these anymore just because for me, they don't really do what I need them to. The process is quick but so is the degradation basically.
