Re: What is everyone's opinion on the Griots Garge products?
I have both their 6 and 3 inch dual action polishers, car wash, one step sealant, complete compound, fine glass polish and glass pads, BOSS fast correction cream, foam glass cleaner, clay, glass sealant, towels, probably missed something (oh yeah, leather care spray, spray on car wax, Speed Shine). I've built up Griot's via smart shopping and like the products. Since I started doing this part time professionally, Griot's fits certain needs. I am a fan of other brands and products as well. For the novice, car enthusiast or professional.

Good! Here's a kit to get started with:
Griot’s Garage 6 inch Random Orbital Correct & Finish Combo LIMITED TIME ONLY!
Stepping down to a 5" BP over the 6" BP that comes with the machine is a very wise move - it will allow you to use smaller (and thinner) 5.5" pads for faster correction.
You'll still need more pads, microfiber towels, clay, polish, an LSP... could go with an AIO in order to save some $. There are a lot of options for your consideration.
Knowing your buget/ expectations upfront will help narrow down what combo of the above to go with.

Re: What is everyone's opinion on the Griots Garge products?
I've been very happy with the vast majority of them. I happily use all of the BOSS Cremes (FCC, CC, PC and FS), Speed Shine, Best of Show liquid and paste wax, PolyWax (actually is a sealant and a GREAT one), Spray on wax (very hard to beat for the price), PFM towels, wash soap (the pink one), long lasting tire shine, BOSS pads, GG6 and BOSS G15 polishers. The only product of theirs that doesn't blow me away is the standard (green) wheel cleaner. It works, but doesn't foam and requires a fair amount of product to do what other products do with less product.
...and the service experience to date has been stellar. The company is built around making and keeping customers happy - much like AG does as well. Not all companies can make that claim.

GG6 good (5 inch backplate)
G15 good
GG3 don't like them at all. They should discontinue them.
Boss creams good stuff!!
Poly Wax it's ok
Speed shine and spray wax is good.
Interior Cleaner and leather care is good
Clay Bar it's ok
Just ordered the iron and fallout remover....
Customer support is great!!!

Microfiber BOSS pads are the best
I Have their G21 and GG6 setup with 3inch BOSS pads. Killer combo and very satisfied.
When I run out of Menzerna Polishes I'll be switching to BOSS creams too.

The GG3 is like an entirely different tool with thin pads. You should give it another chance with 3" BOSS pads or LC Thin Pros.

Re: What is everyone's opinion on the Griots Garge products?
Thanks guys, this is what I was hoping to hear. I like that a good product is sold locally. I will be picking up that combo Angus posted a link to in the next month or so.
Next move will be understanding what products I should buy first. I have a 2017 black silverado, after reading on the geek I have learned that my washing method is not up to par. I have a few light swirl marks and water spots I need to get rid of.
My thoughts are wash with the 2bwm. ( just bought 2 new buckets this weekend)
Then dry. (I'll need a good drying towel which one?)
Decontamination using a clay bar. Is any clay bar ok for this process?
After the clay bar, I am then confused on what to do for my next step? Is the complete compound a all in one? Or what should I use to get rid of swirls?
After that is done. Use a wax or Polish not sure which one?
Them to touch up after drives cause my work lot is a little dusty, do I get the detail spray or best of show spray or something different?
Sorry for asking so many questions, just got alot to learn after reading on the geek here for a while. I got to really step up my detail game. Lol
Thanks for all your guys help .

I have a 2017 Silverado (black) scheduled at the end of March. I'll be using GG polishes and G21 along with other tools. I'll do a write up when done so you can see how well GG products work on GM trucks.
