Love detailing my own car!

Normally my cars are the last to get detailed because I'm usually detailing everyone else's car. Isn't that how it always goes for any profession? With the launch of this new DP line of products I had previously washed my car using the new DP Ceramic Wash and this left me with a perfect candidate car to test out this new graphene spray detailer. I would note that you can use it like I'm using it here on a washed, cleaned and dry car but you can also use it on a car that is lightly dirty or with dust accumulation, fingerprints and smudges.

Let's get started with some action shots showing me using the product. Apologies that there's not a single shot of the whole me actually in frame, I should have asked my photographer to step back a few feet before taking the pictures.

Just to note, Andre told me to use this product lightly, that is just a light mist of product and the spread it around using one towel, then flip the towel to the dry side to wipe off any excess while leaving behind a slick, high gloss finish. When taking these pictures, we were trying to capture the SPRAY coming out of the spray head for dramatic photo-impact and so sometimes you have to do it a few times to capture the picture and then you end up with a little extra product on the surface than needed.

Step 1: Mist a little product onto a section of a body panel.

Step 2: Using a clean, soft microfiber towel, spread the product over the surface.

Step 3: Flip your towel to a dry side...

Step 4: Using the dry side of a towel, buff that section of paint to a high gloss, slick shine.

Repeat this process over the rest of the body panels.

The results are streak-free with a super high gloss finish that's slick to the touch.

The clear, glassy results make it easy to see the metallic flake in the paint.

The paint looks like it's melting...

And the surface is slick and slippery. Andre tells me over the next 24 to 48 hours it will become even more slick and slippery.

Review

There a hundreds of spray detailers on the market and most work pretty good. This new graphene quick detailer works GREAT! It will do what most spray detailers will do, that is remove light dust, fingerprints and smudges but it will also leave behind a layer of graphene-oxide protection that leaves the paint feeling slick with an intense high gloss finish. It also creates, restores and maintain a hydrophobic surface for extreme water beading. This hydrophobic surface creates a self-cleaning effect anytime it rains plus makes future washing and drying faster and easier.

Best of all, it's so easy to use, just mist and wipe. I did my QX30 in under 30 minutes, probably closer to 20 minutes but I kept getting interrupted, so hard to say.
