How difficult are they to "wring out"?

Oh my gosh! I think they would be a tick on the difficult side to wring out.

The point of their humongous GSM and size is you DON'T wring them out. You don't need to.


They hold enough water that like I said in my review,

I used the larger version to dry all the water off this black 2015 Z28 Camaro and then a few days later I used the smaller version to dry all the water off this car's Kissing Cousin, a red 2015 Z28 Camaro.

Both towels removed 100% of the water with zero effort on my part except moving the towel over each body panel. The smaller, even though smaller, had no problem sucking up all the water off the car and there was still plenty of dry towel left if there would have been more water, for example a LARGE SUV.

So these work differently than the old school leather chamois or synthetic chamois like the Absorber or Water Sprite. With these types of drying towels "yes" as you work around a car you must stop and wring-out the water they have absorbed.

With the towels you see in the pictures above - you don't need to wring them out because they hold all the standing water on your car.

I've always sworn by my PFMs....but might have to give these a try.....as soon as AGO has a 25% off sale

A fair amount of gsm’s more than the PFM. If i didn’t have 2 large, 3 mediums and 8 16x16 PFM’s plus 3 twisted loop duplex drying towels from MTM woulda already tried these.


On a side note their Cloud 9’s feel completely different from the EE.....softer. Gonna give them a try at rinseless next week.... did i mention their super soft?

Same here - I already have a large PFM as well as a couple of other large drying towels, so I am not in the market, even though these look interesting.
