Re: Now available - Dr. Beasley's Z1 Ceramic AIO Primer

Okay, I called Dr. Beasley's main and spoke with Customer Support.

    NSP - 150, 95, or 45
Complete your polishing steps as need and can coat immediately.

Z1 (Similar to using CarPro Essence but with the addition of the AIO-feature, lite correction only)
Wait at minimum of 1-hour prior to applying a SECOND coating of your choice.

For more details on the NSP, read Mike Phillips postings and review.

And Craig, YES buy all three plus the Z1, never hurts to have good options!

Generally speaking you'll only need a few dime-size drops on your pad to start with, with more product added as needed. Based on that you could tackle several vehicles with a tube alone!

    From Dr. Beasley’s website:

“NANO SURFACE PRIMERS are a 3-product system of fully inorganic paintwork correction solutions, specifically engineered to prime for ceramic nanocoating application. This system corrects defects, builds a thick coating foundation and lays down adhesion points for bonding.”

I think I understand based on the description you pasted that the primer polishes do in fact leave some sort of anchoring point which is similar to Essence. Z1 being a legitimate AIO with substantial protection.

The primer vs AIO terminology confused me because technically Essence is an AIO (and/or primer) since it claims to last 6 months of protection (albeit with poor beater characteristics in its own). So based on Essence, it’s hard for me to differentiate a primer from an AIO as far as whether something with protection is left behind... other than I guess a ceramic AIO leaves down ‘more protection’.

Do you remember back to the timeS Menzerna changed names?

I wrote an article to try to clear up the confusion and a few years later they changed the names again! I gave up.

    Hello,

Z1 with the lake country green pad did a great job removing exhaust soot from my boat. There is a nice glossy finish now.

The primers remind me of the Duragloss Polish Bonding Agent.

So what’s with this statement in the product description on AG?

You don’t have to think twice about applying Dr. Beasley’s NSP Z1 on top of other products as it can be layered with waxes, sealants and other coatings of similar durability.

Is this a mis-print? I assume it means other products can be applied on top of Z1. Z1 has light abrasives. No way this is going to do anything on top of other sealants, wax or coatings except polish it off or worst case, damage a base coating. Or am I reading the statement wrong?

I think just some confusion over what the product is and what it does. Kind of like how some in this thread have shared they have been confused over what the product is and what it does.

I've sent the link to this post to our webmaster and shared some more detailed info about what the product is and what it does.

    How's that saying go?

    What it is man....

Thanks Mike. Maybe it will get updated, even if I’m the only one that got further confused by it, lol.
