This certainly looks awesome! Personally, I would be fine with spending the $ on a quality buffer.
I think it’s awesome being able to blast out a flat panel with the 21mm then switching to a smaller orbit for a curvy or convex panel all with a quick turn of the collar.
I’m not sure if I will be getting one though. I really love using a forced rotation DA polisher such as the Beast or C-Beast. If I do use a free spinning DA machine, I always try to grab the Cordless Finisher for my second polishing step. The cordless is just so hard to beat in my eyes.
The rotary option is nice but I don’t think I would enjoy the ergonomics and added weight over my Rupes Rotary or Flex PE14.
Just my PERSONAL thoughts. Never say never till you try it though......
We seem to be quite similar there. Im still a forced rotation guy. I've been using a cordless 15mm machine and love being cordless.

The UDOS is really impressive with all capable modes, period. Heavy yes, but using it on flat panels it was not a problem. This was very smooth to operate but is a typical DA unit. Like all machines it can stall, so you LEARN the tool like any other buffer in your collection. I am certain that it will be a great tool for the mobile detailer or a shop needing a few options but limited budget. One machine that covers all current popular orbit strokes plus a rotary!
Disclaimer: I attended Mike’s class this past weekend and was in the first group to try out the new units. Thanks to LC Tools for making this happen so early in the production first run. Thanks to Jason with LC Tools in helping me learn the tool.
