I saw waxmodes YouTube review of WG Spray Coating. It looks IMPRESSIVE, from ease of application to durability. I’m buying some.

Correct with those Mike mentioned and if you don’t have panel prep spray and do have PBL Surface Cleansing Lotion (Polish), you could use that for final prep to remove oils. This is a bit more work than simple prep spray and wiping, but I dont always trust my prep spray results. I recall only expected results after using the prep polishes.
If you don’t already have prep polish, go for whatever you prefer.

I think a good prep wipe would leave the paint better prepared than a prep polish.

You think panel wipe is more effective than a polish meant to remove old wax and sealants?

I wouldn't use a prep polish if I used an abrasive polish first.

The simple answer, (in case that's what you're looking for),
The Wolfgang Si02 Paint Sealant is like a traditional "lotion-like" liquid. Like other liquid waxes and sealants. This makes it easy to apply for the average person, by hand or machine.
The Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Spray Coating is a water-like spray-on coating. Unlike the above lotion-like product, you would apply and remove to small sections at a time. While not difficult, I would say it's not as easy as applying a traditional lotion-like product simply because most people have probably applied a liquid wax or sealant in their lives. (unless you're brand new to detailing or car ownership)

Right, my post was about if he already had prep polish and didn’t want to purchase a panel wipe. From that perspective, it adds a bit of work but will do the job effectively.
I don’t see why a panel wipe would leave a surface better prepared.

How many applications do you think you could get out of a bottle on a smaller to mid size car? Trying to get an idea of the cost per application. Thanks!

I’m following DGPS since it’s similar consistency and application. Probably about 20-25 applications by hand. Someone on another thread said they can get 40 applications out DGPS by using machine.
