Re: Must Have Microfiber! At least my opinion :)
Thanks for the info. I have one of the waffle weave. Was thinking of adding the double loop and diamond weave and do a little comparing.

The only exceptions are my PFM drying towels, but you do not fold these.
Thankfully the rest of Griot's PFM towel lineup are square ... really like my wax removal and glass PFM's.

Mike, what would be your reccomended towels for interior cleaning?
I like the green SONAX Glass Towels for cleaning the screens and instrument cluster.
I'd like to see an article on your reccomended interior towels if you can find the time please.
Ha ha ha help me spend my money!
Merry Christmas!

While square towels are simple, I don't mind rectangular either. I just fold them in half one direction and in threes the other. Now you have 12 sides rather than 8 plus a little extra thickness for cushioning which is a benefit in most cases.

I was referring to the micro fibers that mike had showed in the first post. Trying to set up a dedicated cabinet in the garage. It’s a nice list of towels and was wondering how many of each you guys would consider having on hand to maintain 1 daily driver. Let say for a three step process . I see Mike stated 3 of the waffle weave prep wash towels should be enough to dry just about everything out there but no numbers for the rest of the list.
I’m getting a little bit of analysis paralysis reading all the articles. I see he recommends changing pads for every panel do you change the take off and rag as well. I’ve got a crew cab pick up with a topper so 12 pads per step = 36 pads for a 3 step do I need 36 take offs according to this methodology? Truck is 4 yo and is in good shape did a two step last year but want to do some minor correction this year. I’ve been using a wheel and hand finishing but I’m picking up a Supa BEAST and want to add these to the order.

12 towels is a good starting point and a small wash load.
