Re: New RUPES Tools + New Pads + New Product!

Forced rotation da's and rotarys just dont work with mf pads. Mille works fine with foam and wool pads it just seems to correct slower than long throw machines and im pretty sure Mille beats Flex vrg. I need to do more tests wirh more pressure but the nice thing with mk2 machines ia that even though they dont need lots of downward pressure, they still can handle it if needed.

Mike, it just vibrates and generates more noise with speed six, but nothing like vrg ill try to get video later this week.

I had suspected the Mille not being smooth as the videos at speed 3 shown vibration...so glad I got the po5000c..with just weight of machine it corrects faster then my 3401 and no vibration nor heat like the 3401..

Hopefully their rotary won't be a disappointment

Good test would be cutting foam pad on 1000 wet sanding marks 3 passes..or perhaps 4..max speed

Both worked well with Thin pro a days low profile pads (unless deformed)

Well actually it is very smooth but i like to operate slower than speed six. One disadvantage with Mille is that the backing plate is pita to switch because it has six screws on it.

Not my video but here you can see that it is smooth:

Do you feel a difference between clockwise and counter clockwise rotation?
Or do people just make a big deal over nothing...all in their head?

Well Mille doesnt seem to walk nearly as bad VRG. It is great machine but like VRG it seems to correct slower than 15-21.

Anybody else wonder why the left the front of the new lh19e rotaty naked? I mean it probably heats when you do many hours of heavy duty correcting with twisted wool pad and then you dont have much space to get a good grip.

I don't understand why, with the videos I've seen, most run the Mille at speed 3?? I'd run it full blast, or close to it if I'm trying to correct.

I think its best to use with speed 4-5, with speed 6 its bit unstable and uncomfortable, usable though.

Anyone else wonder that rotary thing?
