Mike, are these DAT or SMAT based?

Off hand I don't know. I stopped caring about whether a product is SMAT or DAT years ago.

Instead, I take the advice given to me by John Dillon years ago and instead of focusing on what's inside the bottle I focus on the performance of the product.

These products perform exactly like I stated in my review. I'd use these two product on any black paint job. That's as good as it gets.


For what it's worth, I find "quality" DAT product to work on and finish out more consistently on a wide spectrum of types of paint than SMAT.
