Re: Hybrids delaminating?
John, I would guess washing machine is such a too harsh method for pad cleaning. I just spray some pad cleaner, let it sit for a while, soak it a bucket with dp pad cleaner, rinse with water and then gently dry it out with a mf towel or spin it in a rotary.
Re: Hybrids delaminating?
I suppose, my blues are not, just seems to be these white fellows
Re: Hybrids delaminating?
Never had an issue with my Buff and Shine or Meguiars pads in the washing machine and dryer (Low heat). I have had issues with every Lake Country pad I've owned.
Buff and Shine & Meguiars > Lake Country
Re: Hybrids delaminating?
I don't use the dryer, I scrub then machine wash them, spin dry the air dry.

Hmmm...thought that was a possibility, I guess.
I always had issues with every Lake Country pad I've owned, so it doesn't surprise me you're having issues.
Sorry I couldn't help.
Edit: I do have thier HD pads that I haven't tried yet though.
Re: Hybrids delaminating?
Thanks guys, I built a pad washer, I guess I will just switch to that. Stinks that 5 pads kicked the bucket.

Buff and Shine & Meguiars > Lake Country
same with me!
Re: Hybrids delaminating?
Use them for hard to reach spots for buffing or for applying dressings like tire gel by cutting them up into small pieces!
Re: Hybrids delaminating?
Strange, I've had issues with all pads and discs other than LC.
