Polish Aggressiveness Chart Update
With the recent launch of so many great new products from Palm Beach Motoring Group and the upcoming onslaught of new products at SEMA....
Is someone at PBMG going to take the reins on the Polish Aggressiveness Chart that Todd Helme maintained over on Autopia?

I have always found it to be a great quick reference guide
I also believe that from a marketing perspective it encourages Forum users to try new products that offer the same cut, but may also offer other characteristics that are more favorable than their current product
The chart also helps manage the expectations of users, in terms of level of cut provided
With the introduction of FG300, the new chart may have to go to 11. This would also allow for placement of M105 at 11 as Meguiar's indicates on their label. Maybe M100 would move up to 10 as a result if the re-alignment?
Thanks,
Kyle
Re: Polish Aggressiveness Chart Update
Yep. Very useful chart. It would be great to have it updated as new products come out.

Re: Polish Aggressiveness Chart Update
Maybe Menzerna raising the bar with 300 Heavy Cut Compound which is supposed to cut 25% more than FG400, which is already a 10 of 10 on the current Autopia Chart
I know Todd Helme has stepped away from Autopia.com, but he started this thread over there:
AutopiaForum and Autopia.org MERGED! Breaking News - 11-07-2014, 05:11 AM
Hopefully, someone will fill the void and maintain, what I think is a very good reference tool
Re: Polish Aggressiveness Chart Update
I never seen this chart. But after looking at it I know it will come in very handy. Thanks for posting it.
Re: Polish Aggressiveness Chart Update
Meguiar's #09 is less aggressive than #205?
Thats news to me. Having used both, I see it as the other way around.

According to the Meguiar's scale on each product's bottle:
I'm tempted to say they're pert-near-equal in their abilities of aggressiveness/cut.
(Please see below for further aggressiveness factors)
M090: 3/10 = .3000
M205: 4/12 = .3333

The "Todd Helme Chart" is a good "starting point".
Pad, arm speed, dwell time, machine, etc.
also have an impact upon aggressiveness/cut.

IMO the guy who created the chart should update it since his opinions went into it.

He (Todd Helme) created it when he was an employee of PBMG and ran the autopia.net Forum as Mike Phillips runs the AGO Forum
He now works for Rupes
