Re: 2014 Yellow Corvette C7
I hope you send him to AG to stock up on quality products to wash, dry and maintain his Corvette's finish after you undo the damage he's inflicted.
Here's my write-up for a similar project only this Corvette only had around 800 miles and no swirls or scratches.
How to detail a 2014 Corvette Stingray

You'll probably want to start out with the Zephir Gloss...
Zephir Gloss - Coarse Compound - Blue Lid & Blue Foam Pad
Zephir Gloss is engineered to be used with the aggressive blue foam cutting pad to remove deeper below surface paint defects while polishing out to a hologram-free finish. Zephir Gloss is aggressive enough to remove down to P1500 sanding marks.

I'm not a huge fan of MF pads most of the time but if it works for you then go for it. If it were me I'd hit it with the Rupes coarse blue foam cutting pad.

I'll be looking forward to your review. At least yellow hides a multitude of sins. Corvette's are just plain cool. Enjoy the detail. Sounds like you've got great equipment and products to work with.
Re: 2014 Yellow Corvette C7
Thanks everyone, I have him scheduled for next Thursday. I do have foam pads but only for the 6" backing plate =(
I'll post a very detailed review when the time comes!
And when I say the paint has swirls....its bad!
