What is a good combination

I am using 3m perfect it products most of the time. Now my question is
What is a good combination of products that I can buy instead of spending $$$$ on products and learning about them for example lets say 3m a good cutting compound then for swirl remover use Wolfgang then for finishing use Menzurna products. Has any one combined them or found out what ls work the best I am still buying bunch of new products every month but its getting speedy. So I like to hear your input on what's a good combo. I know that different paints has different strengths and some work good some not as much. But let's just say over all. Thanks guys
