Subaru BRZ: Show Prep and C.Quartz by XSXV Houston
This car was previously plasti dipped. Client had all of it removed which left behind some pretty good marring and residue. We were looking for the best possible finish, with the most protection to keep this car shiny all show season. I was excited we got a dark colored car to really bring out the finish.
Wheels were covered up to prevent brake rotor rusting and damage to the plasti-dipped wheels.

AG Foam Gun, APC, Dawn, left to dwell. Lots of vinyl adhesive on the surface. The solution broke it down very well. Soon after a thorough wash, we went ahead and decontaminated with IronX on the body panels.

Brought it inside for an air dry, then prepped for surgery.

Gave the car a wipe down with surface prep solution. Then came the ceramic coat. It was a really hot day when we did this car.

Nice work!
I'm curious, what size hose are you using for the micro shop-vac attachments? That is a great idea. Also, what kind of adapter are you using for the end it hooks onto the actual shop-vac hose? Thanks in advance!!! :dblthumb2:

Terribly sorry for the late response!
I will get back to you on exact measurements. The micro hose kit i purchased from Harbor Freight Tools for $7, most places sell it for $15+ without the micro line attachment!
It attaches to your standard hose and there is a reducer to the plastic line. You can adjust the suction by turning the adaptor. This is great for getting in between manifolds.
Thanks for all the feedback
