Re: BP Lights Don't Lie!!
This is how we learn. Look at it that way.
Re: BP Lights Don't Lie!!
It's why Mike recommends a minimum of two different light sources to inspect your work. Same thing happened to me on my first correction too. Fluorescent lighting did me in.

LOL.. Yeah, our lights show imperfections like no other.
Don't worry, practice makes perfect.

^^^^:iagree:^^^^
What's weird, though, (and is reason NO.1 I don't go to BP stations), is that I don't see any of my, or my vehicle's, "imperfections" under the lights at my local Marathon station. :D

There's always room for improvement, for everyone...IMO.

OP, what you're seeing may actually be RIDS. Fluorescent lighting really shows this defect well.
Re: BP Lights Don't Lie!!
Hahahh I'm so glad I'm not the only person who looks at their detailing results under the gas station lights. Fluorescents and the Sun, detailers best friend!
Re: BP Lights Don't Lie!!
I'm ALWAYS looking at my car under all kinds of lights where ever I am lol
Re: BP Lights Don't Lie!!
I think I read somewhere (probably here) using the brinkman and shutting all the other lights off in your detailing space is a great way to reveal any swirls. I know it's revealed some of the flaws in my work.
