BMW 740i with 80,000 Miles
Finished a trade-in 740i that has 80/k on the odometer. Pretty good shape except for a truly nasty scratch on the hood....it was so deep, I almost gave up. The rotary + compound didn't help much and the solution was my trusty Festool in random orbit with a cutting pad and Optimum Compound mixed with XMT1 to keep it working longer. I probably spent 30 minutes on this scratch and the shop owner was amazed! He had written off the scratch himself.
Here's a pic after rotary work. The compound just smoothed out the ridges but on silver, you could see it in the right light (it's shown in the middle light)

Outside pic on a cloudy day. I'll take some inside pics tomorrow after I wax the car. It's finish is just compounded and glazed.

Interior Shot: When these cars are cleaned, the interior is just elegant!

Another Interior Shot. We don't try for the 'high gloss' approach

Nice Engine compartment shot for an 80/k 6 year old vehicle.

We've had an individual interested in the car spend about an hour with me while I detailed it. He was amazed at the cleanliness objective of the shop.
